Abstract:
ob<x>jective To investigate the abnormal ex<x>pression of cell adhesion factors in ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis. Methods This study was approved by Xuzhou Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital. A total of 20 patients with adenomyosis from December 2019 to June 2020 in our hospital were recruited into this study. Moreover, 19 patients who underwent hysterectomy due to cervical precancerous lesions. Quantitative real time PCR was used to determine the ex<x>pression of cadherin, selectin and other cell adhesion factors ex<x>pression in endometrium. Moreover, western blot was used to identify the ex<x>pression of TNF-α and NF-κB P65 protein. Results In comparison with control group, the ex<x>pression of N-cadherin, VE-cadherin, L-selectin, VCAM-1, CD22, and NEGR1 mRNA in ectopic endometrium of patients with adenomyosis were higher ( P< 0.05). However, the ex<x>pression of E-cadherin was lower than that of control group (P< 0.05). There were no significant differences for P-selectin and E-selectin mRNA ex<x>pression between these two groups. Moreover, the ex<x>pression of TNF-αand NF-κB P65 protein in ectopic endometrium of patients with adenomyosis was higher than that of control group. Conclusion There were differences for the alterations of cell adhesion factors between the ectopic endometrium of patients with adenomyosis and the eutopic endometrium of control group. The activation of TNF-α/NF-κB signaling pathway might be associated with the abnormal ex<x>pression of cell adhesion factors in ectopic endometrium of adenomyosis
