Abstract:
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)is a common me<x>tabolic reproductive abnormality syndrome in women of childbearing age.?Autoimmune antibodies may be involved in the pathogenesis of PCOS. To evaluate the detections of antinuclear antibody (ANA) in patients with PCOS.?Methods A total of 52 patients with PCOS were selected from January 2020 to September 2020, and 67 normal controls were selected for IVF/ICSI due to male factors or simple fallopian tube factors in the same period. The level of ANAwere detected by enzyme -li<x>nked immunosorbent assay. The correlation between ANA and PCOS was analyzed by Spearman rank method.?Results The positive rate of ANA in the PCOS group was higher than that in the control group (15.38% VS 4.48%, P= 0.042 *).?After correcting the factors such as age and BMI, the positive rate of ANA in PCOS group was positively correlated with Fins and HOMA-IR, except androgen and lipid me<x>tabolism.?Conclusion This study reveled for the first time the correlation between PCOS and ANA in Chinese women of childbearing age.?The autoimmune process may exist in the pathogenesis of polycystic ovary syndrome.
