Abstract:
ob<x>jective Asprosin and Metrnl are newly discovered adipokines in recent years. The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between the levels of Asprosin and Metrnl in the serum of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) and glucolipid me<x>tabolism. Methods Forty-five pregnant women with gestational diabetes diagnosed in the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from February 2022 to July 2022 were selected as GDM group, and forty-five normal pregnant women were selected as control group. The levels of Asprosin and Metrnl were detected in both groups, and correlations with blood glucose, blood lipids, insulin resistance and inflammatory indexes were analyzed. Results The levels of prepregnancy BMI,newbornweight, FPG, 2hPBG, FINS, HOMA-IR, HbA1c, TC, TG,LDL-C,CRP,and Asprosin in the GDM group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). while the levels of late pregnancy weight gain, HDL-C, and Metrnl in the GDM group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The differences in age and gestational week between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The serum Asprosin levels were positively correlated with FPG,2hPBG,FINS,HOMA-IR,HbA1c,TG and CRP (P<0.05); negatively correlated with HDL-C (P<0.05);The serum Metrnl was negatively correlated with FPG,2hPBG,FINS, HOMA-IR, HbA1c,TG and CRP (P<0.05); and positively correlated with HDL-C (P<0.05).One-way ANOVA of experimental related factors on GDM indicated that there were significant differences in the levels of BMI,Asprosin,Metrnl,TG,FPG,HbA1c,HDL-C,LDL-C,2hPBG,CRP(P<0.05).Multiva-riate Logistic stepwise regression analysis revealed that the level of Asprosin,Metrnl,HbA1c and BMI were related to GDM.Conclusion The serum Asprosin and Metrnl are closely related to glucose and lipid me<x>tabolism, inflammatory markers and insulin resistance in patients with GDM, and play an important role in the occurrence and development of GDM.
