Abstract:
Objective To compare the value of elastography imaging area ratio and virtue touch tissue quantification(VTQ) in differential diagnosis of breast lesions. Methods Virtue touch tissue imaging(VTI) and VTQ were performed in 68 patients who had 76 breast lesions. The ratios of lesion traced area in VTI versus in gray-scale images(VTIAR) and shear wave velocity(SWV) in the lesions were gained. ROC curves were constructed on the basis of pathological findings. An analysis of the area under the curve, the sensitivity and the specificity were conducted to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of VTIAR and SWV. Results There were no significant differences between the area under the ROC curve of VTIAR and that of SWV. If the cut-off value of VTIAR was no less than 1.52, the sensitivity and the specificity were 90% and 92.6%. If the cut-off value of SWV was no less than 3.76m/s, the sensitivity and the specificity were 83.3% and 94.5%.Conclusions There are no significant differences between VTIAR and SWV in diagnostic value, and they are all helpful in identification diagnosing breast lesions.
