Abstract:
Objective: to analyze the expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) in Helicobacter pylori (Hp) associated gastric mucositis. Methods: 50 patients with chronic gastritis were selected from 03 months to 05 months of 2018 from 2017 to 2018. According to whether HP infection occurred, the patients were divided into Hp positive group (34 cases) and Hp negative group (16 cases), and 24 patients (control group) were selected for the same period of health examination and the results were normal in the gastric mucosa. The clinical data of all patients were collected, and their MIF, Hp and other indicators were detected. The MIF level, positive status, MIF mRNA expression, positive status and the relationship between the degree of Hp related gastric mucosa inflammation and the expression of MIF were observed and compared. Results: the MIF level, the positive rate of MIF, the expression of MIF mRNA and the positive rate of MIF mRNA in the Hp positive group and the Hp negative group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the MIF level, MIF positive rate, MIF expression and positive rate in the Hp positive group were significantly higher than those in the negative group. The expression of MIF mRNA in mild chronic inflammation was significantly lower than that in moderate chronic inflammation, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: in Hp infection associated gastric mucositis, MIF level and MIF mRNA expression increased, and the severity of inflammation increased
