Abstract:
Objective: The application value of CAFFR in the interventional diagnosis of coronary artery disease compared with the conventional FFR. Methods:38 patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease were enrolled in our study, from January 2012 to December 2014, including 23 males and 15 females, and the average age (60.47±8.2). Invasive coronary angiography(CAG) with fractional flow reserve(FFR) were performed in these patients.Computation of CAFFR was derived from CAG data, using computational fluid dynamics algorithm by automatic calculation of coronary blood flow reserve fraction. Specificity accuracy CAFFR was calculated with invasive FFR as the reference. Results:FFR and CAFFR were applied for targeted lesion,Of the 38 patients and 42 vessels, There was a good correlation of vessel based CAFFR values with FFR value (r=0.661, P < 0.001). Conclusion:With the use of automatic calculation of coronary blood flow reserve fraction, CAFFR was proved to be a novel method for evaluating functional of coronary stenosis.CAFFR has good clinical value in interventional diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease.
