Abstract: ob＜x＞jective To explore how to play an effective role in the prevention and control of nosocomial infection in the process of dealing with novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia. Methods The nursing department made a unified deployment, carried out prevention and control in terms of optimizing the three-level nursing management system, training infection monitors and all nursing staff, formulating standardized procedures, guiding medical staff in scientific protection, effective isolation, strict disinfection, implementation of logistical support measures, and strengthening health monitoring and infection reporting of medical staff. Results None of the medical staff was infected by the novel coronavirus，and the situation of the novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia was not spread. A stage victory about the novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia prevention and control was achieved. Conclusion The novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia can be prevented and controlled by giving full play to the role of the nursing system in prevention and control
