Abstract:
ob<x>jective: To investigate and analyze the psychological status and influencing factors of novel coronavirus pneumonia patients in intensive care unit. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate the novel coronavirus pneumonia patients hospitalized in the intensive care unit of a tertiary A hospital in Wuhan from February 2, 2020 to March 5, 2020 with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the athens Sleep Scale. Results: Among the 40 patients with diagnosed novel coronavirus pneumonia in intensive care unit, 5 were positive anxiety, 3 were positive depression and 32 were insomnia. Anxiety level is positively correlated with fatigue, dyspnea, myalgia and sore throat (r = 0.391, 0.553, 0.458, 0.390, respectively) (p < 0.05); Depression was positively correlated with fatigue and sore throat (r = 0.493 and 0.331 respectively) (p < 0.05). Sleep level was positively correlated with fatigue and dyspnea (r = 0.403 and 0.398 respectively) (p < 0.05). There are significant differences in anxiety scores between patients diagnosed with severe novel coronavirus pneumonia and those with different working conditions and educational levels. Different sex, age, working status, marital status and educational level have significant differences in depression scores of patients diagnosed with severe novel coronavirus pneumonia. There are significant differences in sleep scores between patients diagnosed with severe novel coronavirus pneumonia in different age, working status, marital status and educational level. Conclusion:The novel coronavirus pneumonia patients are more become development of the psychological status ,like anxiety, depression, insomnia in intensive care unit, which need more attention.
