Abstract:
ob<x>jective To investigate the clinical significance of peripheral blood vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in bladder cancer patients. Methods Patients admitted to the department of urology, affiliated hospital of xuzhou medical university from March 2019 to March 2020 with the first diagnosis of bladder cancer (observation group), patients reviewed after the operation of bladder cancer (control group 1 for recurrence of bladder cancer, control group 2 for non-recurrence of bladder cancer) and patients met the criteria for non-tumor and non-inflammatory diseases (normal group) were selected.VEGF and NLR levels in peripheral blood were measured for statistical analysis. Results VEGF and NLR levels in the observation group and control group 1 were significantly higher than those in control group 2 and normal group (P<0.05), there was no significant difference in VEGF and NLR levels between the observation group and control group 1 and between control group 2 and the normal group (P<0.05).There were significant differences in VEGF and NLR levels in different tumor stage, grade, diameter and lymph node me<x>tastasis in the observation group (P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between VEGF and NLR levels in patients with bladder cancer (r=0.886,P<0.05). Conclusion In patients with bladder cancer, VEGF and NLR were monitored in combination, which has certain reference value in evaluating the pathological features and prognosis of bladder cancer
