Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of bundles strategy on patient’s compliance and clinical rehabilitation with asthma children. Methods 128 asthma children were divided into control group (n=64) and observation group (n=64) according to the random number table. The two groups were given standard therapy of asthma, the control group adopted traditional management mode, conducted the diagnosis and treatment in the outpatient department, and gave the knowledge education and medication instruction with asthma. The observation group carried out bundles strategy during the whole course of treatment, including specialist physicians, nurses, nutrition experts to form a management team and follow-up management center of children with asthma, established a good partnership to comfort children and their parents, encourage psychological care, and eliminate their resistance to the standard management model, formulated daily life protection measures,follow-up and exercise program as well as interactive inhalation therapy together by nurse, children and their parents, nutrition experts rendered nutrition assessment and dietary guidance. The treatment compliance, pulmonary function changes and the scores of children asthma control test(C-ACT)were compared between two groups. Results The compliance of children with acute asthma attach or in the remission phase in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).The duration for long-term inhalation therapy and specific immune treatment performed in asthma children in the remission phase in the observation group was longer in contrast with that in the control group (all P<0.01).The improvement of lung function and C-CAT score in the observation group was superior to those in the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion Standard therapy combined with continuous bundles strategy could improve treatment compliance of asthma children, effectively improve lung function and achieve the clinical goals of asthma control.
