Abstract:
Hearing impairment is one of the common causes of disability in the elderly, which can seriously affect the quality of life and social function of the elderly. It has been proved by a large number of studies that hearing impairment is related to the occurrence and development of a variety of psychiatric disorders. This article reviews the relationship between hearing impairment and psychiatric disorders from the aspects of pathology, physiology and neuroanatomy, and its intervention measures, so as to provide new strategies and thoughts in the prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
