Abstract: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic leads to a huge impact on the normal diagnosis and treatment of hospitals. Although the situation in China shows a positive trend, the current state of the COVID-19 is globally pandemic. In order to guarantee normal medical order and meet the growing demand for medical treatment, hospitals should earnestly summarize the experience and lessons in the prevention and control of epidemic situation in the previous stage, cope with the weakness of emergency treatment, and establish and improve a long-term mechanism of hospital emergency management, so as to thoroughly defeat the COVID-19 pandemic, and guarantee routine diagnosis and treatment in an orderly manner.
