Abstract:
Objective To investigate the association of CRM1 and cytoplasmic p27Kip1 in epithelial ovarian cancer. MethodsThe expression of CRM1 and cytoplasmic p27Kip1 in 64 samples of epithelial ovarian cancer tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. Then, the association between CRM1 and cytoplamic p27Kip1 was discussed. Meanwhile, their association with clinicopathological factors was analyzed. ResultsBoth CRM1 and cytoplamic p27Kip1 were highly expressed in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues, with an expression rate of 76.56% and 64.06%, respectively, which was positively correlated. Meanwhile, CRM1 positive expression was associated with FIGO stage, tumor grade, and lymph node metastases. Cytoplamic p27Kip1 positive expression was associated with FIGO stage and tumor grade. ConclusionsHigh expression of CRM1 may be involved in the progress of epithelial ovarian cancer and is related to poor prognosis. CRM1 positive expression is positively associated with cytoplamic p27Kip1.
