Abstract:
ObjectiveTo evaluate the effects of local injection with lauromacrogol and laser treatment on patients with infantile hemangioma. MethodsA total of 35 patients with infantile hemangioma at various sites were injected with lauromacrogol for 1 to 2 treatment course before laser treatment. The resultant efficacy was observed for 3 to 12 months. ResultsAmong the patients, 11 were cured, 21 were partially cured and 3 were improved, with an effective rate of 91.4%. ConclusionsLocal injection with lauromacrogol and laser treatment can treat patients with infantile hemangioma, with less adverse reactions and high cure rates, without obvious scar formation.
