Abstract:
ObjectiveTo analyze the initial manifestation of lung cancer patients beyond the chest, so as to improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis. MethodsRetrospective analysis was performed using data from 110 lung cancer patients with initial manifestations beyond the chest. These manifestations were classified, while related mechanisms were discussed. ResultsThere were 26 patients with metastatic symptoms, 31 patients with osteoarthropathy, 10 patients with endocrine abnormalities and carcinoma syndromes, 10 with neuromuscular syndrome and abnormal mental state, 6 with skin diseases, 13 with electrolytic disorder, 5 with abnormal blood vessels and/or blood system, 2 with carcinoid syndromes, 2 with hoarse voice, 2 with superior vena cava obstruction syndrome, and 3 without any clinical symptoms. ConclusionsThe initial manifestation of lung cancer beyond the chest is complicated and difficult to diagnose. Physicians should pay more attentions to the diseases and early detection and treatment are recommended.
