Methods: The 366 patients who underwent abortion in our hospital from May 2016 to September 2017 were the subjects of the study, according to whether oral short-acting compound pill yasmin after operative, patients were divided into observation group and control group, 190 cases in observation group, 176 cases in control group. The patients in the observation group were given birth control after induced abortion. The control group had other methods of contraception. The changes of vaginal bleeding, menstrual cycle, accidental pregnancy and reproductive hormone levels and complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The proportion of vaginal bleeding time, bleeding amount and vaginal secretion after induced abortion in the observation group were significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The period of menstruation after induced abortion in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The endometrial thickness of 3 weeks after abortion in observation group were significantly higher than the control group, and the amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome and again within six months after pregnancy in observation group were significantly lower than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The estradiol (E2) degree rise in observation group of patients with abortion was significantly higher than that in control group, and luteinizing hormone (LH) and progesterone drops (PRL) levels were significantly higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).The incidence of complications in observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Yasmin can significantly reduce vaginal bleeding after induced abortion, help endometrial repair and menstrual cycle recovery, and the contraceptive effect is good, with few complications, and it is worthy of clinical application.
