Abstract:
ob<x>jective: To understand the prevalence and clinical characteristics of COVID-19, to provide a basis for the prevention and control of the disease and offer clues for studying the mechanism.Methods: a total of 60 COVID-19 nucleic acid test positive data were collected from Xuzhou Infectious Diseases Hospital . The information on demographic, epidemiological, clinical characteristics, laboratory test, treatment and outcome were obtained from electronic medical records.Results: The median age was 39.5 and mainly concentrated in 15 to 49 years old. 36.7% was male, 83.3% are common cases, and71.7% had contact with COVID-19 patients. Fever (63.3%), chest distress (48.3%) and expectoration (41.7%) were the most common symptom s. hemoptysis (1.7%) and myalgia or arthralgia (5.0%) was uncommon . 20.0% had at least one coexisting illness. 4 6.7% cases had lymphocytopenia, 28.3% had leukopenia and neutropenia. 40.0% had elevated CRP and 33.3% had elevated lactate dehydrogenase. 48.3% had hypoalbuminemia, 38.3% had low potassium, and 41.7% had increased PT. 71.7 % of patients were IgM positive and 53.3% were IgG positive. Ground-glass opacity (86.7%) and interstitial abnormalities (40%) were the most common CT abnormalities . All patients were recovery and discharge after standard therapy.Conclusions: The main susceptible population of COVID-19 was young adults. Fever was the most common symptoms. O n admission, lymphocytopenia, elevated CRP and Ground-glass opacity were common abnormal laboratory testing and CT finding. All patients were recovery and discharge in our hospital.
