Abstract
Objective To observe the implant retention rate and bone changes around the implant after full-mouth immediate repair and immediate loading in complete edentulous jaws. Methods A total of 57 cases of full-mouth immediate repair and immediate loading in complete edentulous jaws(48 cases with single jaw,9 cases with complete upper and lower jaws) were selected, and the definitive restorations were made after 6 months of transitional dentures. Results In 57 cases, the survival rate of implants was 99.6% before the definitive restorations, and the surrounding mucosa of the implant was healthy, and there was no obvious absorption around the implants neck. The changes of bone height were-0.3(-0.4,-0.2) in the upper jaws and-0.2(-0.3,-0.1) in the lower jaws. Conclusions Immediate full-mouth repair and immediate loading can meet the requirements of aesthetic and masticatory function during the transitional period of patients. The implant has a high retention rate, and provides a good reference for the determination of occlusal relationship after permanent restoration.
