Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of Buzhong Yiqi pill in the treatment of postpartum stress urinary incontinence by ultrasound. Methods A total of 80 cases of postpartum stress urinary incontinence were divided into an observation group (n=40) and a control group (n=40) according to the random number table. The control group was treated with neuromuscular electrical stimulation and biofeedback. The observation group was treated with Buzhong Yiqi pill on the basis of the control group. The clinical effect was evaluated 8 weeks and 3 months after treatment. The frequency of urinary incontinence, the score of pelvic floor muscle strength and the weight of urinary pad were compared before treatment, 8 weeks and 3 months after treatment. Three dimensional ultrasound was used to evaluate the area of the pelvic floor cleft, the angle of the bladder neck and the distance between the bladder neck and the pubic symphysis. Results At 8 weeks after treatment, there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups (P>0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). At 8 weeks and 3 months after treatment, the frequency of urinary incontinence and the weight of urinary pad in the two groups were lower than that before treatment, and the score of pelvic floor muscle strength was higher than that before treatment (P<0.05). There were significant differences in the frequency of urinary incontinence, the score of pelvic floor muscle strength and the weight of urinary pad between the two groups at 8 weeks and 3 months after treatment (P<0.05). At 8 weeks and 3 months after treatment, the area of the pelvic floor fissure and the angle of the bladder neck in the resting and Valsalva state of the two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment, and the distance between the bladder neck and the lower edge of the pubic symphysis was significantly higher than that before treatment. The difference between the two indexes was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Buzhong Yiqi pill can improve the effect of postpartum stress urinary incontinence, and three-dimensional ultrasound of perineum can provide objective index for pelvic function.
