Effect of continuing nursing intervention based on WeChat platform on motor function and quality of life in patients with osteoporotic compression fracture

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of continuing nursing intervention based on WeChat platform on motor function and quality of life in patients with osteoporotic compression fracture. Methods The patients with osteoporotic compression fracture admitted to Xuzhou Mining Group General Hospital were selected and given continuing nursing intervention based on WeChat platform (observation group) and routine continuing nursing (control group) . The changes of motor function, daily life ability and quality of life before and after nursing were compared. Results After 6 months of nursing, Fugl-Meyer scale and Barthel Index in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the quality of life scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The continuing nursing intervention based on WeChat platform can effectively improve the motor function, daily life ability and quality of life of patients with osteoporotic compression fractures.
