    Zero infection of medical staff: nursing management strategy of scientific prevention and control of COVID-19 in isolated ward

    • Objective To discuss the nursing management methods to ensure zero infection of medical staff in isolation wards in the process of treating patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods The hospital implemented unified deployment, optimized the three-level nursing management system, trained infection monitoring staff and all nursing staff. At the same time standardized procedures were formulated to guide medical staff to carry out prevention and control in scientific protection, effective isolation, strict disinfection, implementation of logistical support measures, strengthening health monitoring and infection reporting of medical staff. Results The goal of zero infection of all the medical staff and stage victory of prevention and treatment of COVID-19 were achieved. Conclusions Hospital infection of COVID-19 can be prevented and controlled. The isolation ward adopts the strategy of prevention and control management, which is effective and worthy of promotion and application.
