Abstract
ObjectiveTo establish referenced range for the uterus and ovary reference between 4 and 12 years old. MethodsA total of 925 healthy children underwent physical examination between 4 and 12 aged girls in January 2014 and December 2016 in our hospital. The length and volume of the uterus, ovarian volume and the number and diameter of ovarian follicles in the ovary were measured. The pelvic development of girls was analyzed. ResultsThe uterus and ovaries grew slowly between 4 and 8 years old, but increase significantly from 9 to 12 years old. No obvious relationship was found as to the size of uterine and stature in the same age group. ConclusionsWe provide the normal reference range of the uterine and ovarian in girls at different ages, which can provide reference to evaluate the development of girls.
