Study on application of psychological intervention and humanistic care nursing in patients with diabetic nephropathy

Objective To investigate the effect of psychological intervention and humanistic care nursing on the prognosis of patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods 80 cases of patients with diabetic nephropathy from January 2015 to February 2017 in our department were selected and they were randomly divided into four groups: psychological intervention group, humanistic care group, psychological intervention and humanistic care group, and control group, 20 cases in each group. Then comparative studied the SAS score , SDS score, complication rates and average hospitalization days of four groups. Results In the above three study groups, the SAS score, SDS score, complication rates and average hospitalization days were all significantly less than those in the control group (P＜0.05). In addition, these indicators of patients in psychological intervention and humanistic care group were less than those in the other two study groups (P＜0.05). Conclusions psychological intervention or/ and humanistic care nursing can obviously relieve the degree of anxiety and depression, and reduce complication rates and average hospitalization days in patients with diabetic nephropathy, and therefore improve the prognosis of these patients
